BELIEFS

We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God and that God has provided it as our all-sufficient guide for salvation and the Christian life. We believe that God is the creator of the universe and that although He is one, He exists in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is God expressed in human terms, that he is true God and true man, that He was begotten of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, and that he is perfect and sinless in His humanity. We believe that mankind is a fallen creature and that by his own works he cannot save himself from eternal punishment.

We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for man’s sin and that every person who truly believes on Jesus Christ and by faith rests on His finished work on the cross can have his sins forgiven and be immediately and eternally saved. We believe that all who receive Christ are born of the Holy Spirit, indwelt and energized by Him, and are baptized by Him into the body of Christ, the Church.

We believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead and ascended into heaven where He rules as Head of the Church. We believe that Jesus Christ will return for His Church, after which He will come to earth and establish His kingdom.
