What is apologetics?
Why is it important?
Where does faith fit in?
Can we prove God exists?
Is the Bible reliable?
Why is there so much evil and suffering in the world?
How old is the Earth? How big was the Flood? How much does it matter?
These are some of the relevant issues we will be covering in our next Creekside U, coming up August 9th and 16th, 6-8pm at Creekside. Over two Sunday evenings, Mike Johnson and Mark Kline will be teaching ‘Defending Your Faith: A Basic Course in Christian Apologetics,’ a class assembled to help you know what you believe and equip you to “give the reason for the hope that you have” in Christ (1 Peter 3:15). This course is for young and old, and we’ll have activities and snacks for smaller kids.
Each night is a two hour session split by a break for refreshments. Audio from each class is provided in 4 sessions that are 45 minutes to an hour each, and we’ll do our best to make class handouts available for download as well. Creekside U is a teaching series we have planned covering a variety of topics. Have suggestions for future topics you’d like to explore? Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
