We have two new classes beginning Sunday, March 29th for INQUIRE, still meeting 9:30-10:15. Those who have come have really enjoyed the topics and discussion. It is a great opportunity to dig deeper into the Word of God and interact with the topics with other believers in a more intimate setting. Here is a preview of what is in-store for the next 8 weeks.
God Helps Parents
There’s hardly anything more significant– and more challenging– than parenting. Parenting is a major area for living out our relationship with Jesus Christ. This Inquire class is designed to encourage moms and dads to grow spiritually in their roles and responsibilities as parents. Those taking this class will be given the opportunity to reflect on parenting in an encouraging environment.

Philippians – The Epistle of Joy
The Philippian church had its share of problems. Its members were desperately poor, so much so that Paul was surprised at their contribution to the offering he was collecting for the poor in Jerusalem. They were also being attacked by false teachers, there was a feud between two prominent women that threatened to shatter the unity of the church, and like Paul, they were being persecuted for the cause of Christ. When the Apostle Paul wrote this letter to his beloved Philippian congregation, he was in his fourth year of Roman custody, waiting Emperor Nero’s final decision in his case.
These were not circumstances that you would expect to produce joy and happiness. But unlike the temporary pleasures and happiness most people look for, Philippians shows how we can have joy from a settled conviction that God sovereignly controls the events of life for believers’ good and His glory, and is available to all who obey Him. That divine joy is the theme of Philippians. Those taking this class will be challenged and encouraged to live a joyful, content life, with a renewed perspective of living in light of eternity.
