Ruth Harbor Baby Shower

Just a reminder – there’s a baby shower Thursday night Feb. 25th at 7:00pm for the girls at Ruth Harbor that have been coming to Cornerstone. This has been in the bulletin the last few Sunday’s, but here’s the details: If you don’t already know, Ruth Harbor is a Christ-centered home for young women who are alone and facing unplanned pregnancies. Ruth Harbor provides housing, education, counseling, spiritual support and more for the duration of their pregnancies. There are three girls staying there right now – Elona (having a boy due March 12th), Tiffany (having a girl due Apr. 26th) and Britney (having a boy due the end of June). The shower will be at the Home Builders Association in Johnston. If you want to contribute to a group gift, please give money to Kara O’Byrnes this Sunday. We’ve been convicted about witnessing to others and we thought this would be an excellent way to show God’s love to some girls that feel alone right now in a time of need. Please join us in stepping out of our comfort zone to spend a couple of hours next week showing the love of Christ to women who really need to feel loved right now.
