Creekside’s Safety Team is bringing in representatives from the Urbandale Police and Fire Departments to provide free bleed control training at Creekside on Saturday, April 27th from 9:30 to about 11:30 AM.
STOP the BLEED s a program designed to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. Participants will learn the basics of applying pressure, dressing and tourniquet to bleeding wounds.
