5/20 PANCAKES FOR PIGNON
Creekside’s Haiti missions team has begun planning for our next trip to Haiti! You are invited to our “Pancakes for Pignon” (Haiti) fundraiser at Creekside on Saturday, May 20th from 8am to 11am. We appreciate your prayers for this year’s trip, which is planned for November 1-10. Your generous support will enable us to reach our fundraising goal to be able to purchase supplies needed for ministry opportunities in Haiti. You can make a cash donation at the fundraiser, OR give in two other ways: 1) Online at this link (please select”PCMP” under the “Designated to:” dropdown and type in “Creekside Haiti Missions Team” in the “Private Message” area at the bottom of the form); or 2) Write a check to Creekside Church with “Haiti Missions Team” in the memo. Thank you for supporting this year’s Haiti Missions Team!
5/28 Newlywed Meet & Greet for Braxton & Miranda
Braxton LeBaron (nephew of Ruben and Jethro Ray) and Miranda will be married on May 13th in Mexico. We would like to share in their happiness and present them with a gift from Creekside. Please see Marla Smith, Victoria Martinez-Ray or Jacqui Gardiner if you’d like to contribute. A reception will be held for them on Sunday, May 28th, 10-10:30 at Creekside if you’d like to bring a card and wish them well. The couple also has a gift registry at The Knot.
6/19 Baby Shower Luncheon for Shanya Burton
Shanya Burton is expecting a baby boy in July! Ladies, we’re planning a baby shower luncheon for Shanya on June 10th, 11:30-1:30 at Marla Smith’s home in Urbandale. It’s an open house so come and go as needed. Shanya is registered at Target. If you’d like to contribute to group gift from Creekside, please see Jacqui Gardiner, Victoria Ray, or Kara Jones.
